Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh work-life balance dan disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai Satuan Polisi Pamong Praja (Satpol PP) dalam penertiban Pedagang Kaki Lima (PKL) di Kota Gunungsitoli. Latar belakang penelitian berangkat dari temuan lapangan mengenai beban kerja yang tinggi, potensi kelelahan fisik dan emosional, serta masih ditemukannya pelanggaran disiplin yang berimplikasi pada efektivitas penertiban PKL. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian asosiatif. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh pegawai Satpol PP Kota Gunungsitoli, dan sampel yang digunakan berjumlah 30 orang dengan teknik sensus. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner skala Likert yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan regresi linier berganda dengan bantuan SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) work-life balance berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai dengan koefisien determinasi (R²) sebesar 0,745; (2) disiplin kerja juga berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai dengan R² sebesar 0,716; dan (3) secara simultan, work-life balance dan disiplin kerja berpengaruh kuat dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai dengan R² sebesar 0,823. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa peningkatan kinerja Satpol PP dalam penertiban PKL tidak hanya ditopang oleh penguatan disiplin formal, tetapi juga sangat bergantung pada kemampuan organisasi menyediakan kondisi kerja yang mendukung keseimbangan kehidupan kerja dan kehidupan pribadi pegawai.
